Truro Bookshop is situated 300 yards from the railway station towards the city centre. We are open 10am- 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday.

Truro Bookshop is truly unique with 20,000 titles filling the foyer of the museum building. The amazing stock covers all subject areas, with many titles that won’t be found in far larger shops. We hold what is probably the widest range of books in the world on and about all aspects of Cornwall, its history, geography, culture and language, including books imported from Australia, the USA and South Africa about the Cornish abroad! We have hundreds of books in stock on all aspects of tin, copper and lead mining, industrial archeology and geology.

The shop is the best of an "old bookshop", with books fighting for space from floor to ceiling and even sometimes over doorways. At the same time we have databases giving instant access to all British and a wide range of American books in print. We accept credit cards and welcome mail order and enquiries from home and abroad.

Planning a holiday? Come to Truro and wander a couple of hundred yards down the hill from the station into heaven at the Truro Bookshop! If you can’t make it to Cornwall, the Truro Bookshop will always welcome your call on 01872 272185, fax on 01872 225032 or e-mail Trurobookshop@eudoramail.com.
